What does the name Khalani mean?

Khalani is a modern American name, recorded from 2000, with no dictionary entry. It looks like a respelling of Kalani or Kahlani in the style of Hawaiian-sounding names; Hawaiian kalani is ka 'the' + lani 'sky, heaven, royal chief'. Hawaiian spelling has no kh, though, and we found no source showing that parents took it from Hawaiian, so we do not give it a meaning.

How sure is this? Not documented. Probably modeled on Kalani/Kahlani; no documented origin.

Related names: Kalani, Kahlani, Khaleesi.
