What does the name Talia mean?

Talia has two independent sources. In Hebrew, Talya is a modern name built on tal, "dew". In English it is also a spelling of Thalia, from Greek thallein, "to bloom, flourish": the name of the Muse of comedy and one of the Graces. Yonge's 1884 index glosses Thalia "bloom". Wiktionary lists Talia only as a given name, so which source a family intends varies.

טַל (Hebrew, “dew”)θάλλειν (Ancient Greek, “to bloom”)

How sure is this? Probable. Two separate origins; neither can be assumed for a particular child.
