What does the name Vienna mean?

Vienna is the English name of the capital of Austria, used as a girls' name. English took it from Italian and Medieval Latin Vienna, which renders German Wien. Wiktionary calls the deeper origin disputed: it may come from the Roman name Vindobona or from a Celtic word reconstructed as Vedunia, perhaps "forest stream," from a root meaning wood. A separate ancient Vienna, now Vienne in France, has an uncertain name. As a given name Vienna has been used in the US since the 1880s.

Wien (German, “Vienna”)*Vedunia (Celtic (reconstructed), “perhaps forest stream”)

How sure is this? Disputed. Wiktionary lists rival explanations (Vindobona; Celtic *Vedunia) without choosing.
